Your privacy is important to us. Nourish Together collects personal and health information so we can provide safe, personalised nutrition care and manage your appointments effectively.

Information we may collect includes:

  • Your name, date of birth and contact details

  • Emergency contact details

  • Medical history and health conditions

  • Medications and supplements

  • Pathology or investigation results

  • Referral information

  • Medicare, DVA or private health fund information (where applicable)

  • Payment information

  • Information submitted through our website, online booking system or intake forms

This information helps us to:

  • Provide personalised nutrition care

  • Maintain accurate clinical records

  • Communicate with you about appointments

  • Process payments and eligible rebates

  • Meet our professional and legal obligations

Your information is securely stored using trusted practice management software and secure service providers that comply with Australian privacy and security standards.

We will only share your information:

  • With your consent

  • When required by law

You may request access to or correction of your personal information at any time by contacting us.

Appointments

Appointments can be booked online or by contacting Nourish Together directly.

We currently offer consultations:

  • In person at Hope Island Medical Centre

  • In person at Homeworld Helensvale Medical Centre

  • Via secure telehealth

If you're unsure which appointment is right for you, please contact us before booking and we'll be happy to help.

Fees & Payment

Current consultation fees are displayed during online booking and on our Fees page.

Payment is required at the completion of your consultation unless alternative funding arrangements have been confirmed before your appointment.

Eligible clients may be able to claim rebates through Medicare, DVA or their private health fund. Clients are responsible for confirming their eligibility and level of cover prior to their appointment.

Dietetic consultations are generally GST-free.

Cancellation & Rescheduling

We understand that life can be unpredictable and sometimes appointments need to change.

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please provide at least 24 hours' notice wherever possible.

Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice, or appointments not attended without notice, may incur the full consultation fee.

This policy helps ensure appointment times remain available for other clients waiting for care.

If exceptional circumstances arise, please contact us as soon as possible.

Late Arrivals

If you arrive late, your consultation may need to be shortened to avoid delaying other clients.

The full consultation fee may still apply.

Telehealth

Telehealth appointments provide the same personalised nutrition care as face-to-face consultations.

Before your appointment, please ensure you have:

  • A reliable internet connection

  • A quiet, private location

  • A device with a camera and microphone

If technical difficulties occur, we'll work with you to complete your consultation wherever possible.

Consent to Dietetic Care

Dietetic care is a collaborative process.

Our recommendations are based on:

  • The information you provide

  • Current scientific evidence

  • Professional clinical judgement

  • Your individual health goals

Every person is different, and nutrition recommendations are always tailored to your unique circumstances.

While we aim to support meaningful and lasting improvements in health, individual outcomes vary and cannot be guaranteed.

We encourage you to ask questions throughout your care and to actively participate in developing a plan that works for you.
